Our Fathers are the strongest figures in our lives, they play such an important role in our lives, that a day has been made to actually commemorate their existence. During this day, not only are we indebted to their presence, and are expected to honor them, but we are also expected to give some little… or big keepsakes to them to show our love.

Always, the great dilemma would lie on deciding what to give them. More often than not, we think about their daily necessities like socks or ties, but there is more to give than just another new addition to their already-growing collection of those. So first, think about what Daddy loves to do, or would love to do but don’t have the time or the means to do so.

For dads who love to cook, you could give them some new barbecue tools that they have yet to purchase because they’re too busy working during the day. This way, you will all be inspired to celebrate the next occasion with a barbecue party, making Dad the new Chef of the house.

There are dads who work too hard, and therefore, forgetting that they also have hobbies and sports. Usually, they have no time to do this because they’re bound to work all day. Surely, your Dad will thank you for giving him that chance to unwind.

For Dad who have hobbies, you can buy them a new item for their collection like another miniature car or plane model, or some new car and tech magazines. This will make them feel young again, and this can become a reassurance from you, that they can always pay attention to themselves while paying attention to the needs of the family.

There are Dads who just love to work, even if you ask them to stop. So why not just make them feel good by buying them an item that will surely make their work easier. For example, if they like to spend time in the garage making things, you can buy them some new tools. Or if they love their office or administrative work so much, you can buy them some new lamp, a new set of fountain pens, a new home office chair, or perhaps a new shelf.
